With a constantly growing customer base and our market-oriented product roadmap, we are looking for a communicative and technically proficient Sales Engineer (m/f/x) to actively support us in serving and expanding our customer base based at our headquarters in Weingarten, Germany.
Your Tasks:
- One-stop shop: Sales of the complete acontis product portfolio – EtherCAT software and real-time hypervisors
- Partner for customers: You inquire about and understand the needs of our customers, put together suitable solutions for the customer, and maintain close customer relationships
- Sales expert with background knowledge: You inspire with your expertise – whether at trade shows, on-site, in web meetings, or via email, and are valued by our customers as their consultant.
- New things are exiting: You build new contacts and expand our customer base.
- Tech-savvy: You can not only present our software but also use it yourself and therefore also understand complex customer use cases.
- Hand in hand – worldwide: You support our worldwide distributors in the presentation and consulting on our software packages – both remotely and on-site.
- Winner with good arguments: You guide customers through our license agreement and are a negotiation partner for the purchasing team at our customers.
- Not stuck in the past – but eager for tomorrow: You expand your experience and knowledge and take our team further with your own ideas.
Your Profile:
- Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, automation technology, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
- Experience in industrial automation – with knowledge in the areas of control technology and communication (PLCs, iPCs, fieldbuses, IIoT).
- Sales experience dealing with industrial customers – ideally in the field of software sales.
- Confident and customer-oriented demeanor and enjoyment of developing solution proposals.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork – both within the company and with partners and customers.
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
